Within this community one can be suddenly awaken from a hazy daydream or a middle of the night sleep state by the sudden eruption of multiple sirens followed by honking automobile horns … the sudden awakening of anxiety eases with the realization that a high school or community sports team (American football, basketball (boys and girls), track, and/or baseball) has won the the final game that identifies them as this year’s STATE CHAMPIONS.
